It’s not every day you receive an advanced copy of a book on building wealth and are then asked to read and publicly review the book. The author and fellow personal finance blogger JL Collins really delivered on the promise of the title. Not only was it a quick read, it was entertaining, and very easy to understand (it skipped all the unnecessary technical topics that tend to make personal finance overly complicated). I recently finished reading Seth Godin’s book, The Dip, for the 2nd time. It is a short book that teaches you when to quit and when to lean in. Seth makes the argument that strategic quitting is a huge part of success. The problem is that most people don’t know how to quit properly or even when to quit. Although the book is only 80 pages, it is jammed packed with wisdom. What is the dip?
